Taboret with Tangerines 11,0" x 15,4" hat could be nearer to me than my painting materials upon a taboret that my father built for me as a motif for a still life? Dead birds or game certainly are often in a still life as fruits are here. Had the tangerines not actually been on the taboret, it would have been my job to invent them.
